ODW Knock & Talk

Knock & Talk Investigations
4 Hour Webinar
Course information:

Knock & Talk Investigations, when conducted properly, can be a very successful tactic to combat illegal criminal activity. One of the most difficult aspects of conducting knock & talk operations is gaining voluntary consent to enter a residence while staying in compliance with search and seizure laws.

The 4th Amendment of the constitution governs illegal search and seizures. Officers must have a clear understanding of the 4th Amendment and current case law to conduct knock & talk operations legally.

This webinar will provide up-to-date case law that regulates Knock and Talks and the proper techniques and tactics to combat potential violent encounters.
