Scott Shepherd
began his law enforcement career in Dallas, Texas with the Dallas Police Department in 1990. Scott worked his first few years in patrol before being selected to serve on a Narcotics Task Force. Scott worked in a covert capacity and targeted drug houses and drug dealers in the community. Scott was later selected for the Narcotics Division where he worked strictly in an undercover capacity. Countless hours of tactical training and tactical application were included during this time. Scott finished his career in the Mounted Unit and became the Head Trainer. As the trainer, Scott was responsible for the continuing performance and advancement of the Mounted Officers as well as the training of the Police horses.
In 2018 Scott was hired by the Maypearl Independent School District, Maypearl, Texas to start a Police Department for the school. Scott served as the Chief of Police there during the inception of this department. During this time, Scott was responsible for creating S.O.P., General Orders, and all other policy and procedure needed to be certified by the State of Texas. This department was certified in less than 2 months.
In 2019, Scott officially retired from active Law Enforcement and moved with his wife to Florida.
